c) Account Syncing Data

  • Bill Helper allows users to link their accounts using a generated share code. If you choose to link your account to another user's account (the "Host User"), your financial data (bills, income, categories, budgets, overrides, skips) will be accessible and manageable by the Host User. Conversely, if you are the Host User, the linked user will be able to access and manage your financial data.
  • The Host User's name and avatar URL are displayed to the linked user to indicate whose data is being managed.
  • This feature is opt-in, and you control whether you link or unlink your account.

d) Technical and Usage Data (Log Files & Cookies)

  • Information our servers automatically collect when you access the App, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and access times. This information is primarily used for diagnosing technical issues, monitoring system performance, and ensuring the security and stability of the App.
  • We use session cookies to maintain your login status. These cookies are essential for the App's functionality and are typically deleted when you close your browser or sign out.
  • We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies (like Google Analytics) within the Bill Helper App itself. If this changes, we will update this policy.
